With the acquisition of LBP Manufacturing in 2020 and KeCo in 2021, Sabert has extended its product range to include carton solutions. These cardboard packaging solutions are perfectly in line with current market trends.
Missions
As Sales Manager Industry France, your mission will be to develop new business opportunities, which will involve a great deal of prospecting at the start of your new position.
The aim is to considerably expand the customer portfolio and develop new product ranges in the industrial food sector in line with new market trends.
Your responsibilities
- You identify and develop new prospects;
- As an excellent negotiator, you negotiate and prepare commercial offers adapted to customers’ needs;
- Thanks to your attention to detail, you follow up and manage your files until the contract is finalized;
- As a good communicator, you collaborate with the support teams at our production sites;
- You identify the needs of prospects/customers and work out technical solutions to meet the specific problems of each customer;
- You propose solutions in line with current legislation, and ensure that you are informed about it in consultation with the QESH department;
- You determine container/content and container/machine compatibility;
- You promote existing product ranges;
- You ensure the application and deployment of the sales policy defined by the sales department.
- You report to sales management on your activities, results, corrective actions and analyze competitive practices.
- You will manage a network of existing customers, building their loyalty through your presence and know-how.
Your profil
- You have 3/5 years’ higher education (engineering or business school) and have at least 3 to 5 years’ significant experience in B-to-B sales;
- You have experience in customized sales;
- You are familiar with IT tools such as ERP, the Office suite, etc;
- Knowledge of the food packaging sector is imperative;
- You are autonomous, have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ability to adapt to customers’ technical needs;
- Very results-oriented, you have a strong hunting temperament (70%) and are also a very good account manager (30%).
- You have a good knowledge of the IAA sector;
- You are highly organized with excellent priority management skills;
- You will be based in central or western France, or in the Paris region;
- As a Sales Manager, you are willing to travel anywhere in France for 3 to 4 days a week, and to travel regularly to Belgium where Sabert’s European headquarters are located.
