MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT
The department’s mission is to satisfy our customers through the optimal use of logistics resources, product supply and professional customer service, while keeping costs and stock under control.
THE FUNCTION
As a Supply Planner you ensure the availability of products for our customers to guarantee the defined level of service while optimising stock levels and controlling production and supply costs.
You will be responsible for planning, stock management and procurement:
Planning:
- You ensure that sales forecasts are properly integrated into the production, repack and supply schedules for trading products, materials and components;
- You create and manage supply orders in SAP software;
- You are in charge of the planning process to ensure product availability by optimizing costs and stock levels;
- You will determine stock and supply parameters and manage the replenishment process, taking producers’ capacities into account.
Stock Management :
- You monitor stock levels against targets, analyse deviations and manage end-of-life stocks or slow movers. You implement preventive and corrective actions;
- You are responsible for master data in SAP.
Procurement:
- You determine the quantities of items to be ordered;
- You launch and track orders;
- You redistribute the priorities for ongoing orders and manage urgent requests;
- You manage the administrative side of incoming deliveries and check that items have been received;
- You check invoices for incoming transport;
YOUR PROFILE
- You have a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a supply chain orientation;
- You have knowledge of maritime and air transport regulations;
- You have at least 3 years’ professional experience in a similar role;
- You are fluent in both spoken and written English;
- You have a good command of the MS OFFICE suite of IT tools;
- Experience with SAP is a real asset;
- You are structured, precise and logical;
- You have the ability to coordinate the various tasks assigned to you;
- You have a sense of priorities and the ability to manage emergencies;
- You are proactive;
- You are customer-oriented.
