With the acquisition of LBP Manufacturing in 2020 and KeCo in 2021, Sabert has extended its product range to include carton solutions. These cardboard packaging solutions are perfectly in line with current market trends.

Mission of the function

As Finance Manager, your role is to ensure compliance with the company’s legal, administrative and regulatory obligations.
Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be responsible for internal financial reporting, cash management, budget forecasts and the implementation of control tools to ensure the reliability of financial data from the administrative and financial departments.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the strategic plans defined by the Steering Committee are properly implemented.
Finally, you will also act as a partner to the other managers, providing them with budget analysis and monitoring.

Your responsibilities

You will be required to manage the following points, in collaboration with the accounting and management control managers:

ACCOUNTING, TAXATION AND TREASURY

  • You will oversee all the company’s accounting and tax activities
  • You will coordinate and monitor liquidity and capital management
  • You will be a real leader in tax matters
  • You are an excellent partner, capable of guiding and instructing other managers.
  • You will ensure compliance with all relevant procedures and legal requirements.
  • You will constantly gather all relevant information on legal, tax and accounting provisions.

MANAGEMENT CONTROL

  • You will coordinate the preparation of the budget
  • You will supervise all activities relating to the company’s budget
  • You will be responsible for implementing the necessary control procedures for monitoring budgets and schedules, and for identifying and reporting anomalies
  • You will ensure that cost accounting is constantly updated
  • You will be responsible for internal control of compliance with defined procedures

FINANCE

  • You will be responsible for drawing up monthly reports and ensuring that they are accurate.
  • You will be responsible for the Group’s reporting obligations
  • You will prepare various financial reports for the attention of the Finance Director
  • You will coordinate the monitoring of investment activities
  • You will ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
  • As part of your role, you will be in close contact with all internal departments, suppliers and banking institutions.

Your profil

  • You have a Master’s degree in economics and finance or equivalent experience.
  • You have professional experience in an industrial environment
  • You have successful experience in management control
  • Previous management experience is preferred.
  • You have excellent analytical skills, a critical mind, an eye for detail and you are able to process figures quickly and rigorously.
  • You have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and a very good command of SAP. Knowledge of BI would be an asset.
  •  You are able to work independently and are proactive enough to anticipate critical situations.
  •  You have an in-depth knowledge of financial legislation and accounting and tax principles.
  •  You have good written and oral communication skills and can easily explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to any audience
  • You are very result oriented.
